Burlington Communications

Burlington Communications (BCS) is a privately owned Vermont corporation that was founded in 1993 by the former employees of the Motorola owned service center located in Burlington Vermont. Burlington Communications is equally owned by Todd Goad and Eric Field. Our focus has always been on the service aspect of a project. This single aspect is what sets us apart from our competition.

We help public safety agencies save lives by providing reliable wireless communication systems and we help businesses create satisfied customers and improve employee morale. We are a sales dealer for Kenwood, Icom, Ritron, and EF Johnson. We have 9 full time employees and 1 part time employee including the owners. Six of us are certified two-way radio technicians while two employees are primarily installers of two-way radio systems, warning lights, and sirens. Our customer base includes numerous public safety dispatch centers, utilities, hospitals, police, fire, rescue, businesses, and at least a dozen “3 letter” federal agencies: ATF, DEA, IRS, and FPS to name only a few.

Interested in a career with Burlington Communications? We offer a challenging work environment in the office, in the service shop and on the mountaintops. Our benefits include a simple IRA retirement plan, health insurance and paid vacation. If you feel this is a career that matches your personal goals, please email us your resume, cover letter and qualifications in the radio communications field.
